Fulk Design Studio is an interior design studio, and its identity is built entirely around the meaning of its name. "فُلْك" refers to the ark of Prophet Noah, peace be upon him, and that reference shaped every part of the brand I worked on this project while at Quby, where each designer on the team developed their own creative direction, so the client could choose from a range of distinct approaches. This is the direction I created
I wanted the identity to hold a visual balance between the strength of wood and the fluidity of water, so it could express stability, movement, and harmony all at once. The logo's organic form draws from the natural character of wood, while its flowing lines suggest the movement of water. Together they mirror the studio's own approach: creating spaces that are grounded yet fluid, timeless yet contemporary The wordmark works in both Arabic and Latin scripts, pairing a textured serif "Fulk" with a modern Arabic rendering of "فُلْك", so the brand feels at home in either language
The color palette is drawn from nature, moving through off-white, pale sand, olive brown, deep olive green, and charcoal. These earthy tones reinforce a sense of warmth, authenticity, and refined simplicity The identity extends across a full stationery set, from business cards and letterhead to a custom wooden hand stamp, each piece printed on textured, tactile paper that brings the brand's material story to life
